We are not unfamiliar with the Rodin Museum in Paris, which exhibits the sculptor master’s most complete works from his life. However, if given the opportunity, visiting the Meudon Rodin Museum will allow us to understand his artistic achievements more comprehensively and deeply. This is the memorial site of the master’s residence and studio during his lifetime. The museum orderly displays plaster original models tracing Rodin’s sculptural process throughout his life, along with personal belongings and collections. In front of the museum lies the facade of the Mulinus Castle (destroyed by fire in 1871, leaving only this magnificent front), where the couple rests. An immortal statue of "The Thinker" stands on their grave to commemorate the great master.
Meudon is located in the southeastern suburbs of Greater Paris. Rodin settled here at the Belle Vue Villa starting in 1895, completing masterpieces such as "Balzac," "Walking Man," "Siren," and "Hand of God" at this location.
