Return to Paris, my city. Paris-My-City.com Home

On July 5, we gathered at 6 a.m. and departed promptly at 7 from the Denfert-Rochereau square for a day trip. We took a coach to Normandy and the Atlantic coast on France’s eastern edge, visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site, the world-famous Mont Saint-Michel. This medieval cathedral (over five centuries old) was built on a small rocky islet amidst the Atlantic’s strong tides. Here one can observe medieval defensive structures and architectural systems; during high tide it becomes an isolated island in the sea, while only a small path emerges at low tide for access. We returned to Paris at 9 p.m., having prepared lunch, dinner, snacks, water, etc. (Full-day itinerary).
