On July 2, around 7 a.m., we arrived at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, collected our luggage, cleared customs, and took the airport shuttle bus into central Paris. Along the way, we enjoyed the scenery of the Paris suburbs until reaching the Opera terminus, then transferred to Bus No. 27 to Hotel Sthrau near the Nationale metro station in the 13th arrondissement. After assigning rooms and stowing our luggage, we familiarized ourselves with the hotel’s surroundings (location, metro, buses, supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, etc.).
We took Metro Line 6 from Nationale station to visit the world-famous Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel) and the Palais de Chaillot. We then continued on Metro Line 6 to see the magnificent Arc de Triomphe, observing the twelve radiating avenues. We walked down the famous Champs-Elysées, known for its luxury boutiques, toward the grand Petit and Grand Palais, before taking Bus No. 83 back to the hotel. Due to the time difference, that concluded our day.
