On July 4th, we gathered at 9 a.m. You must have heard of Picasso, but how many of his masterpieces have you seen? The Musée Picasso in Paris is a must-visit for art lovers. In the morning, we visited this world-renowned museum dedicated to the genius painter. It houses oil paintings, drawings, sculptures, and multi-media works. The systematic display allows you to see the masterpieces from every period of the great artist's life, and even glimpse his seven "pink confidantes." After the visit, you will discover that women were the driving force behind Picasso's artistic creation—how beautiful!
At noon, we had a picnic near the Saint-Paul metro station (Line 1), then took Line 1 and transferred to a bus to reach the Rose Garden in the Bois de Vincennes on the east side of Paris—the Parc de Bagatelle. With its lush flora, it is the place in Paris with the most roses. Admire various exotic flowers and plants, listen to insects chirping and birds singing; it is an excellent place for a walk. Savor the French leisurely mood by drinking coffee and having afternoon tea at a rustic restaurant here, or basking in the gentle sun.
